The new corporate typeface of Audi was exclusively designed by Paul van der Laan and Pieter van Rosmalen following an international competition among type designers.
Audi Type is used exclusively for all of Audi’s communications, ranging from the Audi logo and associated logotypes, to navigation systems, adverts, company brochures, and annual reports.
The full family contains over 5,300 individual glyphs, and comprises of eight styles that support extended Latin, extended Cyrillic, and Greek.
Introduced in 2009 — the year in which Audi celebrated its 100th anniversary — the Audi Type family represents self-confidence, dynamism and style combined with meticulous attention to detail.
