KPN Display
Pieter van Rosmalen designed KPN Display in 2006 for the corporate identity of KPN Royal Dutch Telecom. The family consists of three weights and each weight houses three different stylistic sets of letters. These sets range from restrained (Set 01) to exhuberant (Set 03) which can accomodate different tones of communication. The fonts also boast a huge set of connected letters to visually express the company’s pay-off “KPN sluit je aan”, which roughly translates to “KPN connects you”.
In 2010 the corporate identity was updated by Koeweiden Postma and at their request KPN Display was reworked into KPN Headline. Certain characters were altered and a heavier weight (ExtraBold) was added.
