New release: Buendia — a different kind of type family.

20 May 2015

Does a type family always have to be a range of weights in the same design? A serif the traditional complement to a sans, and vice versa? What if a typefaces consisted of different styles in the true sense of the word — a thin and medium grotesque, an elegant serif with italic, a bold slab, and a beefy rounded sans?

“In Buendia, each member of the family is a different person, not just the same one who gained or lost weight”, says designer César Puertas. See and test our latest release in detail on the Buendia typeface page. And welcome to Bold Monday, César!
