Five years in development, we are delighted to finally release the Pilot type family. Aleksandra Samuļenkova started the design during the Type & Media course in 2012, drawing inspiration from the lettering and graphics on old (futuristic) book jackets and posters. Her explorations of angularity and density led her to design ten styles in five deliberately compact weights with expressive italics. Perfect for signs, posters, headlines, packaging, or book jackets with a slight touch of retro style.
